Graal Seeker is a 2D game that blends roguelike mechanics and turn-based tactical battles. It recreates the initiatory journey of a knight seeking the Holy Grail in fifth century Britain.
The Grail, object of myths and mysteries, can take several forms depending on the traditions, a chalice, a cauldron, or even an emerald, and is coveted by all for its magical powers. But what is it really?
In Graal Seeker, you take on the role of a knight, a druid, a humble peasant, an archer, or a wandering bard driven by fame, fortune, or faith.
From celtic origins to the christian's or esoteric texts, the quest for the Grail is a true initiatory and introspective quest matching with the whole player's game experience. The story is yours to tell.
Graal Seeker had an early crowdfunding attempt that didn't reach its goal. Since then, the concept has quietly evolved, shifting in tone and scope. Development never fully stopped, artwork and ideas kept taking shape in the background. But the game still isn't ready for release… or even to reveal what it's become. Not yet.
